A committee of volunteers
chose a design for a Veterans Memorial which is under construction at the Town
of Hadley Cemetery. The memorial honors all honorably discharged veterans and
the military branches in which they served. Donations of money, materials and
labor are needed to successfully continue this project. No tax dollars have
been used in the construction of this memorial. This project is totally
supported by community donations. The committee is currently offering a
Buy-A-Brick fundraiser, the cost will be $75 per brick.
Bricks may be purchased
from Veterans Day 2015 until Labor Day 2016 and will be laid Spring 2017 at the town of Hadley Cemetery in Hadley, NY.
There will be a limited number of bricks available: therefore, these will be on a first come first served basis.
The memorial is located at the Town of Hadley Cemetery on South Shore Road and will be maintained by the Town. The committee appreciates the support of the community and the local
businesses as we continue this important task and thanks for your generosity.
