Buy A Brick!
As you may know, the Chelsea Heights PTO is raising money
to replace the current equipment on the playground. It is in very bad condition, presenting a
health and safety hazard to the children.
The new plan is to replace the equipment
in the K-6th grade play area, create an innovative nature scape, and
build a new tot-lot (preschool play area). To date, we have raised enough
money, largely through private donations, in-kind donations, and grants, to
complete the K-6th grade play area and to get a good start on the
nature scape! These areas will be built
on May 1-2, 2013.
We are still raising money to complete
the nature scape and the pre-K play area. The money raised through the sale of bricks will go toward these
spaces.
We hope you will purchase
a brick, and help the Chelsea Heights PTO create a safe and inviting community
gathering place for all. Your engraved brick will become part of a pathway
or border in the nature scape area, to be enjoyed by our community for years to
come!
